{Our own exclusive design} The mugs show Telford Robsons (1888-1937) painting of St. Mary's Lighthouse. Born in North Shields, seventh child of James Alexander Lambert who was a cabinet maker and picture framer with birth name Robert Thompson Lambert. Robert Thompson Lambert lived at 58 Tyne Street, then 4 Tynemouth Road, North Shields and latterly at 31 Central Ave North Shields. He worked as a painter under his own name but also under the names,Thomas/Telford Robson/Telford Lambert and Thompson Lambert. He had a shop at 58 Tyne Street (Picture Framer and Gilder), then Linskill Street and later Camden Street. He inherited the business from his father. He exhibited at Laing Art Gallery, Newcastle. Latterly he was organist and choirmaster at St Oswalds Mission. The mugs are £6 each #Keepingitlocal
